The park is on US 101 on the Oregon coast — roughly 23 miles south of Seaside and 85 miles (about two hours) west of Portland via OR 26 to US 101 south. The entrance road is just south of the town of Nehalem; follow signs for the state park and the airstrip.

On arrival, check in at the Ranger Station first (4:00–5:30 PM on Tuesday) and pay any additional-vehicle fees there, then check in to the rally at Rally Central.
